Defensive positioning, both at the puck and away from the puck, can be discussed once a player is able to skate well enough to get to the defensive positions we discuss. Offensive tactics away from the puck can be discussed once players are capable of consistently catching passes while skating. Offensive tactics with the puck can be discussed once a player can see their options when the puck is on their stick.
